Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Blow Moulding Engineer / Operator to manage production, machine operation, and basic maintenance of blow moulding machines at our manufacturing facility in Cameroon.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor blow moulding machines and ensure smooth day-to-day production.
• Set and optimize machine parameters to achieve required output and product quality.
• Handle mould changes, machine start-up/shutdown, and product changeovers.
• Troubleshoot and carry out basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.
• Minimise machine downtime, rejection, and material wastage.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and maintain basic machine/production records.
• Supervise machine operators and helpers and ensure proper shop-floor discipline.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Requirements
• ITI / Diploma / Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Plastics or related field.
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in plastic blow moulding.
• Strong knowledge of blow moulding machine operation, process setting and troubleshooting.
• Experience with mould changeovers and basic machine maintenance.
• Willingness to work hands-on in a production environment and relocate to Cameroon.
• Ability to independently manage production and resolve routine machine issues.
